SOCIAL HOUSING

The regeneration of social housing is one of Cornerstone’s core markets. We have been working with housing associations and stock-holding local authorities for more than a decade to refurbish and retrofit social housing, both as a main contractor and specialist sub-contractor supporting a wider programme of works.

Cornerstone is experienced in supporting our clients through the design, planning, funding and end to end delivery of social housing retrofit schemes, whatever the size. We have led projects worth up to and in excess of £5m and encompassing a range of insulation, heating and related refurbishment measures including replacement windows and doors, roofing, structural repairs and ventilation.

Our management of every social housing scheme seeks to protect and maximise the significant investment of our clients and enhance the living conditions of residents. It is our approach to take full responsibility for the customer journey, allocating expert resident liaison and site management resource to ensure a wholly positive customer experience.

Cornerstone also understands the eagerness of many clients to extend the reach of a social regeneration scheme to the wider area, and on a number of projects has retrofitted more private properties that those of social tenure as a result of client endorsed engagement campaigns.
