Cornerstone Partners Suffolk County Council to Deliver the Warm Homes Fund
Cold homes are not just uncomfortable to live in, they can have a negative effect on health. In Suffolk there are still a large number of houses that do not have a central heating system with a boiler and radiators.
Suffolk County Council and the county’s district and borough councils have secured up to 100% funding from the Warm Homes Fund to install first time central heating systems (subject to survey) in more than 500 Suffolk households over the next three years.
Cornerstone is pleased to be the exclusive heating installation partner for Waveney and Suffolk Coastal District Councils.
To be eligible you must own your property or privately rent (i.e. not a council house or housing association property) and must not have an existing central heating system (a boiler and radiators). Eligibility may be linked to income. For more information see www.greensuffolk.org/whf
Heating systems will be gas or oil depending on how close your house is to the mains gas network and will consist of a boiler and radiators. Radiators will be installed in your ‘habitable rooms’ e.g. your living room, bedrooms etc.
If you or someone you know is without central heating and would like to know more, please call the local council Warm Homes Healthy People service on 03456 037 686 (local rate), complete the online enquiry form at www.greensuffolk.org/seaenquiry.
