Cornerstone Projects

Cornerstone has had a busy start to 2018 – we are working with a significant number of local authorities, housing associations and main contractors to complete a range of energy efficiency and infrastructure renewal projects across England.

In Lewisham, we are working with United Living to strip cladding and insulation from three high rise tower blocks following a fire safety recommendation, and then preparing the substrate while the new insulation is agreed.

In South Cambridgeshire, we continue to deliver a coordinated programme of external wall, cavity wall and loft insulation to the district council’s housing stock, as part of a relationship stretching back to 2012.

In Bulford, Wiltshire, we are installing external wall insulation on properties belonging to the MOD via main contractor Novus Solutions using an experienced and security cleared team.

In Ipswich, we are close to completing the first phase of Ipswich Borough Council’s scheme to externally insulate the bay windows of a proportion of their housing stock.

In Stevenage, we continue to work with United Living and the borough council to insulate lofts, cavity walls and external walls across the town’s social housing.

In Suffolk, we are working with the East Suffolk councils to install heating measures in the homes of qualifying private sector householders, on a scheme supported by the Warm Homes Fund.

In High Wycombe, we are mid-way on a scheme to strip and replace cladding on low rise blocks of flats belonging to Red Kite Community Housing, in partnership with Kier.

In Norwich, we are working with Fosters Property Maintenance to install external wall insulation on more of the city council’s housing stock – adding to the 1,000+ properties we have insulated in Norwich to date.

In Basildon, we have recently commenced a long term scheme to externally insulate social housing in partnership with Morgan Sindall.

In addition, we continue to service a significant number of private residential customers across the East of England, as well as completing one-off non-domestic render and external wall insulation projects.
