EWI on eleven blocks of flats in Hemel Hempstead

Cornerstone is making excellent progress installing external wall insulation on eleven blocks of flats in Hemel Hempstead. 

Working in partnership with main contractor Aran Energy Services for end client Hanover Housing, the aim is to improve both the aesthetic and thermal efficiency of the social housing blocks.

Aran Energy Services are removing failed cavity wall insulation and reinstalling a high quality product in its place at ground level, while Cornerstone installs SPS Envirowall EWI to the first floor elevations, which are of solid wall construction.  SPS Envirowall created a specific colour match to the original dark asbestos tiles to enable us to meet planning requirements, with all roof and flashing details pre-coloured to match.

The project is due to conclude shortly, having been delivered to the complete satisfaction of our partner Aran Energy Services, and to Hanover Housing and its tenants.
