High Rise EWI Replacement in Peterborough

Cornerstone is delighted to announce that we commenced work on another high rise cladding replacement contract in January 2021, building on our strong track record in this sector.

We have been appointed to strip the existing cladding from Cumberland House in St Marys Court, Peterborough and replace it with an A1 rated external wall insulation system.

Built in the 1960s, the 12 storey, 35m high block is an exclusively residential development in central Peterborough, owned by local housing association Cross Keys Homes.

Cornerstone’s role is to deliver a turn key service; in addition to direct provision of the cladding reinstatement works, we will also be coordinating multiple trades (including scaffolding and window replacement) to provision of a customer focused resident liaison function.

Works are due to commence over the coming weeks and are expected to make a significant improvement to the aesthetic, energy efficiency and overall fire performance of the building.
