Multiple Category Finalist in the Norfolk Business Awards

Cornerstone is delighted to announce that we have been selected as finalists in two categories in the prestigious Norfolk Business Awards.

We were initially shortlisted from a significant number of entries in both the Customer Care and Environment & Sustainability categories, and following interviews by the category sponsors, Cornerstone was confirmed as one of four finalists in each category in October.

The Customer Care category, sponsored by Greater Anglia, recognises companies that demonstrate ‘a clear focus on their customers’ needs, customer-driven initiatives designed to raise service standards and evidence of increased customer satisfaction’.  Our commitment to the customer experience and our track record of excellent satisfaction levels – as evidenced by our Checkatrade profile - have made us a real contender in this category.

The Environment & Sustainability category is sponsored by Lovell, and challenged us to evidence the steps we have taken to reduce our own carbon footprint, as well as the actions we take to help our customers save energy and reduce their fuel bills.  The category is specifically looking to reward companies that ‘demonstrate a true commitment to protecting and enhancing the environment and to the principles of sustainability’.

Cornerstone has also been nominated by the judges to compete for the Business of the Year award – an accolade that will go to the pick of the finalists across all eleven categories, and is chosen by the judges rather than having been available for separate entry.  For this award, the judges will select an organisation that Norfolk can be proud to have as an ambassador of working life in the county.

The winners of the Norfolk Business Awards 2018 will be announced at a black tie ceremony on Thursday 22^nd November at the Norfolk Showground Arena, hosted by comedian Katherine Ryan.
