Cornerstone Successful at East of England Energy Efficiency Awards 2021
Cornerstone and our partners enjoyed a successful night at the East of England Energy Efficiency Awards in September 2021.
Nominated in the Insulation Installer of the Year category, we were Highly Commended for our entry, recognising the excellent work we have carried out in the region over the last year.
In addition, our Large Project entry, alongside Central Bedfordshire Council, was also Highly Commended. This entry focused on a successful LAD1A scheme that saw 100 park homes externally insulated across central Bedfordshire in 2020/21.
We were also delighted to see our nominees for Council of the Year and Landlord of the Year win the top prizes. West Suffolk won Council of the Year for their leadership in driving energy efficiency projects across the county of Suffolk in 2021 and are very worthy winners.
Flagship Group won Landlord of the Year for their sustained commitment to helping improve the energy efficiency of their housing stock whilst also reducing carbon emissions and the fuel bills of their residents.
Cornerstone’s Projects Director Matt Nowell attended the event and commented:
“We are delighted to have our work recognised at these awards and would like to thank the organisers for a very enjoyable evening. We are particularly pleased that the partners we nominated were also recognised as they all thoroughly deserve the acclaim for their hard work and commitment in leading energy efficiency efforts across our region. We have a very busy 2022 lined up now and look forward to showcasing more of our energy efficiency projects at next year’s ceremony.”
