Cornerstone is highly experienced in the retrofit of non-domestic buildings, having installed a range of measures in both publicly and privately owned premises across mainland UK. Our role ranges from specialist subcontractor to the design and installation of turnkey energy efficiency solutions.

Our non-domestic clients have ranged from small local businesses such as farms, office blocks and fitness centres to major hotel chains and public and community buildings. Where some clients have a clear idea of the measure combination required to achieve their energy efficiency needs, or their facade preferences, many others approach us for an expert opinion or aesthetic advice.

Many factors influence the owners and managers of non-domestic buildings to seek energy efficiency upgrades, from the reduction of carbon emissions to aesthetic improvement and the significant cost savings that can be generated by implementing a bespoke, integrated solution. Cornerstone is a one-stop-shop for the many and varied energy efficiency products that can transform a building’s thermal efficiency, comfort and/or aesthetic. We support our clients in selecting the solution that will best meet their needs and achieve the optimum return on their investment, including sourcing funding or finance for the installation wherever possible.

In addition, we work with clients on projects where the primary aim is to provide an aesthetically pleasing façade, from major brands to local businesses. In this case we draw on the expertise of our manufacturer partners where applicable to design and specify bespoke solutions that can transform an existing property or set apart a new build.
