Cornerstone has been working with private homeowners for more than a decade to install energy efficiency and facade measures in their properties, enabling them to improve their thermal efficiency, improve their appearance and reduce their energy bills. We consider each and every individual homeowner as an important and valued customer, working with them to identify a solution to their energy efficiency needs that meets their specification and budget.
We always seek to raise awareness of any central or local government funding streams available to our private sector customers to enable them to minimise their investment wherever possible.
Measures installed in over 7,500 private tenure properties
In addition to servicing enquiries from individual homeowners, Cornerstone has significant experience of working with local authorities to deliver third party funded energy efficiency schemes within the private sector, including across Norfolk, Cambridgeshire, Suffolk and Cheshire in recent years.
Our expert bid team is also able to provide advice and support in compiling funding applications, having co-authored bids that secured £30m in third party funding since 2012. We understand the target driven nature of these schemes and have an excellent record of working with our local authority partners to maximise uptake and support full and accurate progress reporting.
Cornerstone is also adept at self-generating area-based energy efficiency schemes within private housing, targeting specific property types and demographics with attractive funding offers. We have completed schemes of up to 500 properties through this route to date. In addition, we always seek to work with our social housing clients to ensure private homeowners in the vicinity of our works benefit from the economies of scale our social retrofit schemes generate.
